Creating Healthy Digital Habits in the Home

Based on hundreds of conversations and presentations, below are some healthy digital habits we would recommend:

  • Develop digital FREE zones (including the dinner table, bathrooms, and bedrooms),

  • Develop digital FREE activities (family hikes, walks, board games, family + friend dinners, participating in school and community sports, reading a book, church activities, volunteer opportunities).

  • Develop personal digital habits. Based on the recent and up-to-date research, we suggest no more than two-hours of digital activity/day (outside of work and education).
